ProCORE Courses
ProCORE 1 - Global Perspectives 3 units A foundational course visioning the inclusive providential plan for all nations and groups of people. This course is purposed to transform the student’s view of international education, business and development through the study of five meta cultural zones, providing a integrative foundation for future assignments encountered professionally. ProCORE 2 - Global Dynamics 3 units An analytical course examining the social space that will influence all dimensions of international education, business and development in the 21st century. It is designed to grow ‘urban eyes’ and provide transferable analytical tools for the student’s locale, with a focus on progress-prone and progress-resistant cultures.
ProCORE 3 - Global Models 3 units A central course providing an ethical pattern for transcendental transformation regardless of the professional arena of international experience. A 1st century educational model is examined for 21st century relevance and holistic involvement in international education, business and development. ProCORE 4 - Global Worldviews 3 units An integral course comparing major rival worldviews. Students gain knowledge and skills to formulate and articulate their own worldview in comparison to other theories, considering implications of seven perennial questions of humanity in light of the Judeo-Christian perspective.
ProCORE 5 - Global Culture Internship 6 units This course provides a directed internship for students in an international setting. It is a required international capstone experience that includes weekly supervision for student interns. The course focuses specifically on the geographical, historical, demographic, cultural, social, economic, political and technological dimensions that effect in international education, business, and development.
